President Lydia Rogers
Four years ago, I met Wendy David when I applied to become an El Dorado County CASA. She invited me as a Thursday morning SITS guest. I love women of action; and the energy, diversity and the mission to improve women's......... and children's lives was irresistible. It's my honor to hold the role of President 2012-2013. The club's bylaws say, mainly, I'm the chief officer and will direct the business of board and business meetings. but there is so much more than that. I get to pick the theme of the year. I chose: "Share our Strengths". Our club's members have so much to offer - their life experiences, wisdom, persistence, focus-wonderful strengths all are focused on changing women's and children's lives for the better. I get a bird's eye view of the club's activities and am allowed to participate at many levels. I'm most excited about getting to know each of our members better.
